Our story
Open Road Adventure co. is the creation of Cheshire based couple Kieran & Katie, their toddler Alfie and miniature Labradoodle Ruby. After many adventures together and overlanding around different locations around the world from the mountain peaks and back down to feel the sand between their toes on the beach, they dreamed of bringing this adventure to their own backyard in the Great British countryside.

Thus the Open Road Adventure co. was born while on a road trip back from Pembrokeshire in their first van conversion "Ralphy". Armed with these experiences, memories and first-hand knowledge, Kieran & Katie wanted to bring the adventures that Overlanding from place to place can bring to the mainstream UK market. From remodelling 4x4 vehicles to building specialist off-road overland rigs, to creating demountable campers in the name of Pickup Pods for the back of pickup trucks, alongside building bespoke off road camper conversions, they are passionate about creating one-of-a-kind, bespoke fully kitted out camping solutions that give you that magical feeling you can only truly experience while out in nature.
Meet Kieran
After loving the outdoors for as long as I can remember, I've always loved getting out and exploring the Great British countryside, whether that be by boat, bike or foot! Teaching people about the outdoors is a huge interest of mine which is what makes me so passionate about making the outdoors accessible by creating vans and pods allowing people to explore the huge mental and physical benefits of enjoying the great outdoors.
